Kendy Allen has been working with Chincoteague ponies since 1989 and along the way got Marguerite Henry and Maureen Beebe as close friends. She has raised and trained more than 100 Chincoteague ponies, started the only Chincoteague Pony Drill Team, ran the Chincoteague Pony Center Center for 17 years, and has written several children’s books. Today she still maintains the largest heard of Chincoteague ponies off the island on her farm close by. Come hear tales from her life with the ponies and some very special people she’s met along the way.
