Join us for a special screening of The Finest Hours, a gripping true-story drama from Disney that brings one of the most daring U.S. Coast Guard rescues to life. Set in 1952 during a brutal nor’easter off the coast of Massachusetts, the film follows a small crew who brave impossible conditions to save the crew of a sinking oil tanker.

The movie features Chincoteague local hero Daniel Cluff, the Coast Guard officer in command during the historic rescue. Cluff’s leadership and quick decision-making were instrumental in the mission’s success, and his story continues to inspire both his hometown and the wider maritime community.
