Join us at the museum for a special presentation with Gary Hubb, Director of Before the Lighthouse. This full length documentary style film brings to life the key figures and defining moments that shaped Chincoteague and Assateague during a time of rapid transformation—from the late 1700s up to the eve of the lighthouse’s construction. Learn about the Chincoteague history that will be recounted in this special film before its premiere at the Island Theater on May 16th and 17th.

Admission to this exclusive event is free with a museum membership or $8 per person for non-members. Active duty military and their families, as well as all children under 12 enjoy free admission as well!
